Fishing

During your visit to the retreat we, the management team, provide you with the opportunity to fish in the Sunkoshi River. You can learn the technique of fishing used by Mazhis(the local fisherman).The unique way of fishing has been passed on from generations and not much have changed since the early days. Fishing in rivers is unlike those in lakes, witness the thrills, excitement and the adventurous spirit that is attached with river fishing. The Mazhis have their own community and live in a separate village known as the Mazhi Gaun.
